Plot: Cathy's mother murdered her father and attempted to kill her when she was ten. Her younger brother, a priest, holds her accountable. Fifteen years later, Bob coerces a clinging, drippy Cathy into falling for him. He entices her to return to her childhood apartment complex for a "work party." He and his business partner Monica, along with a few weirdly sad acquaintances, hold Cathy captive for several hours before shoving her off the building's roof. She becomes one of them, a 'lurker'. The structure is said to represent 'hell', and everyone born there is evil and is brought back to die. Cathy becomes one of the lurkers who circulate throughout town alerting other individuals.
