Plot: After losing his first wife and the love of his life, wheelchair-bound music composer Frederico Brandi remarries and becomes more unhappy, suspecting his new wife, Marta, of just being with him out of pity. As he repeatedly disrespects Marta and mocks her young boy for being a dreamer who just wants to race horses, his live-in secretary, Giorgia, develops a sexual relationship with her.
