Plot: Dr. Herbert West and Dr. Dan Cain, along with assistant Francesca Danelli, are medical volunteers in a civil war in Peru, exploring how to produce human life from dead tissue by using wounded soldiers as guinea pigs. They return to Miskatonic Hospital, where Dan helps a dying patient, Gloria, and becomes close to her. When snoopy Lt. Leslie Chapham investigates the Miskatonic Massacre, he discovers that body parts are missing from the morgue, and Herbert and Dan are his primary suspects. However, Herbert kills the lieutenant and revives him with the serum. Meanwhile, Dr. Graves discovers Dr. Carl Hill's head and the green material that the deceased doctor stole from Herbert, then uses the serum to resuscitate Dr. Hill's head.
