Plot: An unseen guy recounts four days in his youth when he became of age. He is Simon, in his mid-teens, and he is awestruck by his father, who has plotted a robbery with the down-and-out Fury. Dad double-crosses Fury, using Simon to switch the bag of cash. Unbeknownst to Simon, a bank guard later kills dad and injures Fury. Simon departs Ontario as planned, bound for a distant Quebec town. When Fury realizes the money has vanished, he pursues Simon with the help of Simon's neighbor, Feather, who has been dad's lover. On the way to Quebec, Simon gets picked up by Chrystal, a wild woman who has recently left her husband. They all gather beside a lake for a last sorting of money and connections.
